LONGLEGS: A CHILLING TALE   OF HORROR AND SUSPENSE

The terrifying story of "Longlegs," an American horror thriller from 2024, is masterfully conceived by filmmaker and visionary writer Osgood Perkins. The film explores the spooky and paranormal and stars a stellar ensemble led by Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage, who also produced it through his Saturn Films production business.

The plot centers on Maika Monroe's character, an FBI agent on a terrifying hunt for a fugitive occultist serial killer. Nicolas Cage portrays a killer with a horrifying method of operation: he kills entire families in Oregon without ever showing up in person at the crime scenes, which gives the investigation a dark twist. Talented actors like Blair Underwood, Alicia Witt, Michelle Choi-Lee, Dakota Daulby, and Kiernan Shipka play supporting roles, and they all add to the suspenseful and intense atmosphere of the movie.

With cinematography by Andrés Arochi, editing by Greg Ng and Graham Fortin, and a melancholy musical composition by Zilgi, "Longlegs" is a visual and audio feast produced by Dan Kagan, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Dave Caplan, and Chris Ferguson. Production companies C2 Motion Picture Group, Traffic, Range, Oddfellows, and Saturn Films collaborated on the movie, which is distributed by Neon.

Released in the United States on July 12, 2024, "Longlegs" received positive reviews from critics, who praised its suspenseful storytelling and compelling performances. With a modest budget of under $10 million, the film impressively grossed over $53 million worldwide, cementing its success as a chilling addition to the horror genre.
